My Professional Journey

My own experiences and walking alongside others contribute to a deeply held compassion for the suffering we all inevitably experience, as well as conviction that there is wholeness available in and through pain and hardship. Therapy is one way to rediscover or perhaps experience elements of that for the first time. I start with a non-pathologizing approach, cultivating curiousity about how and why we do the things we do. I practice an integrative approach, both weaving therapeutic approaches and integrating the mental, emotional and somatic components of wellbeing.

After almost a decade in the non-profit sector and three years in frontline inpatient settings, I’m thrilled to be able to focus on creating space to work through challenges and connect more deeply with what matters most.

I have a deep belief that we can benefit from both human and non-human supports, and draw from eco-therapy approaches, if desired; this can look like talking about what aspects of nature feel supportive while in the therapy room, or it can look like directly experiencing the benefits of nature and movement through walk and talk therapy.

Outside of work, I love my pollinator garden, preparing and enjoying good food, reading, hiking and birdwatching.
